My iPhone 3G S order. 7-14 day wait, Ouch!!
So here’s the deal. I have been trying to get an iPhone 3G S without coming out of pocket $699 (32GB). Well I managed to get it done!
First: I started by selling my old HTC Tilt phone on ebay which I got $142.00 for. Pretty decent since I think I bought it refurb for $99.00.
Second: I sold my 3G S phone to a buddy of mine for $300. I can of course get this price because I sell it to him with no contract. That brings my total to $442.00.
Third: (the hardest part) Getting a deal from AT&T. I first went into the store where they told me $699.00. Then I call AT&T directly, they told me $699.00 first then they told me $499.00. I then called Apple (where the phone was in stock) and they told me $699.00. Bottom line I really got the run around!
Finally: I went to the store where I got the phone for $499.00. I applied the $442.00 and I end up out of pocket $57.00. Even I can afford that.
I have to wait 7-14 days for AT&T to ship it because the stores have none in stock at any stores but, I was not about to give Apple $699.00. So here I wait anxiouslly.

Sure. Do you need a better copy of the pic. I have them on my hard drive.
