Bio Page

I am sure by some of the things I allude to you can surely see that I am no sprig chicken.  I am a 40 year old male.  I live in St. Louis, Missouri and have lived here most of my life.

I have been obsessed with technology since I was a kid.  I used to hang out at the computer store and input code to write games on a commodore 64, I was probably 10 yrs old.  I of course had an Atari 2600, which I purchased new in probably 1978.  I have not had every game system but I have had many, Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo Sega Genesis, PlayStation, PS2, Xbox (modded) and PS3.

I bought my first computer in 1993.  It was an HP desktop, which had less processing power than my iPhone.  I was first online with CompuServe and then Prodigy.   My download speed was around 14.5k.  extremely paltry considering I run  today at 10mb (not the fastest but that is what I am willing to pay for).

I have owned lots of tech stuff since then.  Things like the sharp wizard, Palm Pilot and  more laptops and cell phones than I can count.  I figured out how to text on phones in 1999 on my Nokia 8210, back when texting was free.

Today I rock things like: iPhone (75 apps), DirecTV TiVo, PS3, Netflix Roku box, Linksys wireless router, Desktop, 3 Wireless Laptop, 42″ flat panel just to name a few.

I currently hold down a full time job that I have been on for 15 years and it has absolutely nothing to do with technology,  I own an insurance agency!  How boring does that sound.  Well I love it and I love being my own boss.  It allows me to do things like write for my blog whenever I want.

My point to all of this,  I am into this stuff!  I have been into it my whole life.  My goal is to stay on top of thisstuff,  which I always have, and communicate what I know and learn daily with you.

Hopefully this tells you a little bit about me and gives me a little credibility.  I didn’t start researching this stuff a months ago, I started 30 years ago.

I hope you enjoy the blog, thanks for all your support.  Please tell your friends.
